Jenny graduated from nursing in 2009 and soon after began her skin and wound specialization in the Ottawa community.  She subsequently obtained obtained a Master of Clinical Science degree in Wound Healing in addition to a Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Degree in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

 

Medical Aesthetics has long been a passion of hers and she enjoys working with clients to highlight their natural beauty using non-invasive therapies.  Her favourites include radiofrequency (RF), PRP, micro needling, neuromodulator and filler injections.   Jenny offers customized skin care routines to compliment your treatment to maximize and prolong results. 

 

She continuously maintains up to date by attending professional seminars and hands-on technique training to be able to offer her clients up-to-date evidence-based treatments.

Throughout her nursing career, she has had the opportunity to be a committee member with the RNAO Wound Care Interest Group (OntWIG), Champlain Diabetic Foot Ulcer Reduction group, WRHA wound care education group, Winnipeg Home Care Community of Practice group, the WRHA Conservative Sharp Wound Debridement group, and lastly a stakeholder in the 2013 RNAO Best Practice Guideline (BPG) “Assessment and Management of Foot Ulcers for People with Diabetes”.

Jenny is also a wound care specialist with extensive training and experience in the field.  She had the honor of presenting different wound etiologies at the Ottawa Chapter Ontario Family Practice Nurses Group Education Day and Wounds Canada, in addition to having been a committee member in a multitude of areas.
